(7/30/1949 – 10/7/2023)

Kenneth W. Burch, 74 of Mendenhall, Mississippi passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, July 30, 1949 in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held that same day at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Bro. Mickey Myers will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mr. Kenneth retired from Boswell after 25 years of work. He was a lifetime member of Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Ray Burch; father, Mac D. Burch, Sr.; mother, Martha Jones Statham.

Survivors include his sons, Jessie Burch and (JONATHAN M. MCCAFREY); daughter, Nancy Burch; brothers, Donald Burch, Don W. Burch, Eddie Burch, Mac D. Burch, Jr. and Joe C. Burch; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Lawrence, Benny Blair, Lynn Lewis, David Brown, Lee Maddox, and Jessie Burch.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Hunter Brown
