Magee Trojans sweep Hazlehurst in the first round of playoff’s to advance to second round. Trojans won by a score of 10-0 Friday and 24-0 Saturday.
Timon Kennedy was on the mound for the Trojans, Friday, April 20, 2018. Kennedy allowed 0 runs and one hit over five inning.
Caleb Brown drove in four runs. Brown went 3-for-3 at the plate. Brown drove in runs on a double in the first, a double in the second, and a home run in the fourth.
Batting was led by Zack Teater, Kennedy, Dalton Cockrell, and Brown, who each had RBI’s.
Magee varsity total nine hits. Brown and Teater had multiple hits. Magee Trojans were sure-handed in the field and did not commit a single error. Mason booth had the most chances in the field with eight.
Magee will play at Seminary Friday, April 27, 2018 and at home Saturday April 28, 2018 for the second round of playoff’s.
