My dear and precious friend Mr. Ted Allen died Saturday night, March 21, 2020.  We have truly lost a great man.  His love for God, his love for his family, his love for his friends, his love for the Magee Fire Department, and his love for our city could never be questioned.

I think I have know Ted and Jean all my life!  I don’t remember life without them.  Ted and Jean were high school sweethearts.  I know Jean’s heart is breaking just as Ted Pruitt and Allyson’s.

When I think about Ted, I see him smiling and laughing.  He always was telling jokes and keeping something stirred up at Central Wholesale.

46 Years Ago, Mount St. Helens Touched Magee

May 19, 2026

He enjoyed his mission trips to Montana spreading the gospel wherever he went. Ted loved sports and was a supporter of all sports in Simpson County.

I guess I could write on and on about what he did for people in Magee…but then we’ll never know all he did.  His love for others was practiced everyday of his life.

Thank you for being a man of integrity.  Ted was an honorable man.  He was loved and admired.  He was a Christian.  He was a family man.  He was my friend.  I will forever miss him.

(In 2016, Ted and Oliver McLean were chosen for the Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame. Check out the article)

I will post arrangements as received.
