WESSON- The federal Pell Grant has returned to year-round status and is available for use during the summer semester for the first time since 2011. Current Copiah-Lincoln Community College students receiving federal Pell Grant funds need to enroll in at least six hours during the Summer 2018 term to be eligible to receive summer Pell funds. New Co-Lin students, or students not currently receiving federal financial aid, need to apply for financial aid by completing the 2017-2018 FAFSA. Federal Pell Grants do not have to be repaid and provide students with the financial resources necessary to complete their degree. For more information about Pell Grants visit https://www.colin.edu/students/financial-aid-and-scholarships/grants/. Questions regarding financial aid at Co-Lin can be directed to the Financial Aid office on the Wesson Campus at 601.643.8465.
Registration for Summer courses at Co-Lin opens Thursday, April 5, 2018. Both online and on-ground courses are offered during Summer Term 2018 which includes Maymester Term, First Summer Term and Second Summer Term. Maymester Term courses begin May 21 and end June 1. First Summer Term courses begin June 4 and end June 28. Second Summer Term courses begin July 2 and end July 31. For more information about registering for classes, contact the Office of Enrollment Services at 601.643.8490.
