Magee watched the game slip away early and could not recover in a heartbreaking loss to Richland by a score of 11-4 Saturday, March 3, 2018.

Richland scored first on a walk by Dalton Massingil. A singe by Landy Myers would add to the score, followed by a double by Josh Kranz and a single by Luke Banra in the first inning.

Trojans struggled to score and play defensively against Richland allowing 11 runs.

Trojans scored three runs in the fourth inning.

At the end of regulation, Richland left the diamond as the winners.

 

Magee JV would take Victory in high scoring game over Richland Rangers 8-6.

Both teams offenses were strong in Magee Trojans JV 8-6 victory Saturday, March 3rd

Trojans scored early when TJ Hobbs singled allowing two runs to score.

Jordan Magee started for the Trojans. Magee pitched 1 and 2/3 innings allowing zero hit and three runs while striking out one and walking one.

Trojans had 10 hit.   Pittman led the Trojans  with three hits and three at bats.

 

Trojans Fall to Eagles

Trojans Varsity team failed  in the second game Saturday with a loss to Florence by a score of 8-4.

The game was tied at four with Florence battling in the bottom of the sixth when Bryce Henry singled on a 2-1 count scoring three runs. Magee would answer with one run scored in the top of the 5th inning. Florence again would answer to seal the win for the Eagles.

Dalton Cockrell led the Trojans with two hits in four at bats.

Trojans will regroup and be back in action Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at home against Velma Jackson.

Game time is 6:30 for Varsity.
