The Mendenhall Women’s Club has selected the home of James A. Davis, located at 208 East Fifth Street in D’Lo, as its September Yard of the Month.
But there’s more to this beautiful yard than flowers, grass and landscaping. It surrounds a historic home that has been lovingly cared for by James, who takes great pride in preserving both the home and its surroundings.
Step inside, and the history continues. The home is filled with antiques, adding to its character and charm and reflecting James’ appreciation for things from the past.
And that beautiful yard? James does the work himself!
His attention to his home and property is easy to see, but perhaps what stands out most is his love for the community he calls home.
James loves D’Lo.
