Michael Barr, 62, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will be in Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
Mr. Barr is survived by his brothers , Stanley Barr (Priscilla) of Mendenhall, Kenny Barr (Cindy) of Mendenhall, Mark Barr of Mendenhall and Jeff Barr (Sharon) of Mendenhall; sisters, Michelle Wilfong (Neil) of Brandon and Connie Barr of Brandon; step-sons, Ken Barr of Brookhaven, and John Barr of Gulfport; grandchild, John Barr, Jr. of Mendenhall.
Mr. Barr is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Barr and Nezzie Barr.
