The Mendenhall Tigers are on the hunt for a 4-A state championship, something that hasn’t happened in 34 years—1988!  These guys are hungry for the win and focused.

I visited with Coach Chuckie Allen Wednesday and again saw the man with a dream in his eyes!  Actually, Coach Allen played for the Magee Trojans and experienced Championships in his high school days.   There is no reason to question where his heart is…it is in Mendenhall with the Tigers.

The love of the game, the dedication to his team, and a burning desire to take his Tigers to the top drives Coach everyday.

Mendenhall plays Louisville Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11 o’clock at The Rock (University of Southern Mississippi football field).  The Louisville team is locked, loaded, and ready.  But, Mendenhall possesses the key… the heart and desire to bring the trophy home.  The soul of these Tigers is on fire for a championship.

MageeNews.com is proud of the Tigers and wishes the team and coaches success.  Continue to make our county proud!

*Tickets are $15
