Macy Cody passed away at her home surrounded by family on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born to Madison and Eva (Keen) Taylor in Simpson County, MS.
She worked for Sysco for over forty years before retiring. She was a member of Strong River Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-three wonderful years, Jerry Cody; children, Cathy (Glenn) Higdon, Susan (Jimmy) Reynolds, Wanda (Rusty) Hines; brother, Burnell Taylor; sisters, Lucy Craft, Bobbie Scott; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; one sister, one brother, one grandson, and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Shivers, MS.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
