The Mississippi College softball team had four student-athletes named to the All-Gulf South Conference Teams, it was announced on Wednesday (May 3).

Senior Tylan Buckley, freshman Carly Crawford and junior Katherine Lee all earned First Team nods, while senior Haley Thompson was selected to the Second Team following a vote by the league’s head coaches.

With MC being in their first full year of eligibility in NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference in 2016-17, the four Lady Choctaws became MC’s first softball All-GSC selections since Rebecca Broome was recognized in the 1995 season.
