Charley David Cumberland, 72 of Mendenhall, Mississippi passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center in Brandon, Mississippi. He was born Friday, September 25, 1953 in Meridian, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Weathersby Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Maurice Bryant will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

 He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Salters Cumberland; parents, J.D.  Cumberland and Nettie Jenkins Cumberland; brothers, Jesse Cumberland, James Cumberland and Jerry Wayne Cumberland; brother-in-laws, Larry Boone and Wayne Perkins.

 Survivors include his sisters, Syble Perkins, Edna Fisher (Don), Nan Boone and Hattie Latham (Roger); brother-in-law, Bill and sister-in-law, Martha Salters; sister-in-law, Clara Cumberland; and many nieces and nephews.

 Pallbearers will be Tony Magee, Jeremy Loy, Bud McGehee, Skyler Magee, Will Loy, Wesley Loy, Silas McGehee, and Slade McGehee.
