USSSA FALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to the 9U and the 11U Simpson County Cardinals for bringing home the Silver in the USSSA Fall State Championship games.

The 9U and 11U teams are coached by three dedicated coaches, Brian Mills, Kalen Jackson, and Xavier Hayes.  Listening to a portion of the coaches/parent meeting, I know these men care about these young players.  These coaches do not want these young men to just play ball, they want them to learn, grow, and mature as young men with the game.

Flowood Liberty Park located in Flowood was the setting for the victory games of the 9U team which consist of eleven players. The 11U team played at Shiloh Park in Brandon and is made up of ten young players.  These kids worked hard and it paid off.    The Cardinal players received championship rings and, as you can see, they are proud of their accomplishments and Simpson County is proud of them too.
