Charles Milford Stevens, 83 of Pearl, MS passed away from his earthly to his heavenly home Tuesday, November 09, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born Saturday, March 19, 1938, in Puckett, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Brother Mickey Ferguson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Over the years Milford enjoyed traveling, hiking, painting, fishing, boating, coin collecting, photography, and following college sports. He loved to share stories of the many adventures he had with his beloved wife, Fran.

Milford was an excellent mechanic. Before retiring, he worked at Red’s Auto Repair in Byrum. Prior to that, he owned Pearson Road Chevron in Pearl, and the Amoco and Phillips 66 stations on either side of the old Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Before owning his own businesses, he managed several Tote-Sum store locations in the Jackson area. In his younger days, Milford worked with his father and brothers in the family sawmill.

In high school he played football and was voted Mr. Puckett High.

He was preceded in death by his wife, France Anita Rogers Stevens; father, Thomas Grady Stevens;  mother, Ruffie Burnham Stevens;  brothers, Thomas Stevens, Rufus Stevens and Billy Stevens;  daughter-in-law, Michele Dawson Stevens;  brother-in-law, Charles Simmons.

Survivors include his children, Darlene Stevens Cash of Scottsdale, AZ, Steve Stevens of Pearl, MS;  and Brenda Stevens Logan (Jerry) of Conyers, GA;  grandchildren, Eric Cash of Scottsdale, AZ, Kelly Stevens Rineheart (Kenneth) of Pearl, MS , Adam Cash of Scottsdale, AZ, Bridget Pauli Kane (Sean) of Magnolia, TX , David Stevens of Phoenix, AZ  and Aaron Cash of Phoenix, AZ;  great-grandchildren, Gage Hudson of Pearl, MS, Ryker Rineheart of Pearl, MS, Mia Kane of Magnolia, TX, and Carter Kane of Magnolia, TX;  numerous extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Travis Stevens (Grace) of Puckett, MS, Harold Stevens (Marie) of Puckett, MS, Phillip Stevens of Oklahoma City, OK, and Danny Stevens (Diane) of Puckett, MS;  sisters, Linda Simmons of Pelahatchie, MS and Patsy Burnham (Monroe) of Puckett, MS;  sisters-in-law, Sue Stevens of Puckett, MS  and Velma Stevens of Brandon, MS.

Pallbearers will be Eric Cash, Jerry Logan, David Oxborrow, Kenneth Rineheart, David Stevens, and Greg Stevens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gage Hudson and Ryker Rineheart.
