Erwin Whittinghill passed away on September 23, 2026, in Magee, MS. He was born on May 19, 1960 to his parents, Eugene Whittinghill and Mary Duvall Breeland, in Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Whittinghill and Mary Duvall Breeland; his loving wife, Doris Bowen Whittinghill; son, Michael Whittinghill; sister, Janice Stout; and brother-in-law, Joe Stout.
Erwin is survived by his son, Scott Whittinghill (Megan); brother, David Whittinghill (Faye); sister, Dale Posey (Steve); daughter-in-law, April Whittinghill; grandchildren, Mazie Keene (Chris), Gage Whittinghill, Dylan Whittinghill; great-grandchild, Alice Keene; niece, Cashae Bynum; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 5 – 8 PM. The service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Merchant Cemetery in Raleigh, MS.
