Willie Bee Brown, 92, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.  She was born on July 26, 1926, in Covington County.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Jefferson Davis County and graduated from Clem High School. She later attended cosmetology school and opened her shop in Jackson where she worked for many years taking care of her faithful customers.
She was married for 70 years to her high school sweetheart, Harold Brown Sr. until his death in 2017. They retired to their farm in the country and were faithful members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her son, Harold Brown Jr. (Maureen); grandchildren, Brandy Brown Gordon (Steve), Tyler Brown (Jenne’ Boucher Brown); great-grandchildren, Katie Parker Gordon, Charlie Scott Gordon, Georgia Dupree Brown, Townes Wesley Brown; brother, Charles Butler (Betty); sisters, Catherine Brown, Shelby Jean Rosero and sister in law, Sue Boggan (Joe).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Beulah (Heggins) Butler and sister, Dorothy Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with additional visitation from 11:00 am until 1:00 p.m at the church. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Bro. Trent Sullivan officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
