Attention Magee residents. There have been two children bitten by a dog on the east side of town in the last 2 weeks. Please make sure your dogs are kept secure on your property. As a dog owner, you are responsible for your animal. If your dog bites someone or damages property, you can be held responsible and may face legal action.
We also need the public’s help with stray and wild dogs roaming around the city. If you see a pack of loose dogs, please call our dispatch center as soon as possible. Our children deserve to feel safe while playing outside.
Chief Denis J. Borges
