Assists at State Capitol
Jayden Smith of Magee served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. Jayden is pictured with Lieutenant Governor C. Delbert Hosemann, Jr., and Senator Andy Berry, who sponsored his visit. Jayden is the child of Phyllis & Jerry Smith and attends Simpson County Academy. When asked about the week, Jayden said, “I enjoyed meeting the other pagers and the senate members. I have enjoyed experiencing the way the Senate members work together like a family.”
