(June 17, 1942 – March 10, 2022)

Tinnie Mae Blair Lang, 79 of Mendenhall, MS passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, June 17, 1942, in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Brother William Wright and Brother B. Smith will officiate. Special music will be provided by Ms. Debbie Blair.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Mrs. Tinnie was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Mendenhall, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She enjoyed crocheting, working with her flowers, playing with crossword puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Charnell Lang; father, Felix Sol Blair; mother, Mary Nell Kennedy Blair; brother, Charles Blair and Kenneth Ray Blair; and sister, Jeanette Blair Strahan.

Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-two years, John Lang of Mendenhall, MS; two daughters, Pam Lang Meadows (Jeff) and Carolyn Berry Thompson (Bryan) both of Mendenhall, MS; two grandchildren, Monica Meadows (Rick Harper) and Pat Meadows (Lindsey) both of Mendenhall, MS; six great-grandchildren, Zachary Lee (Danielle), Allen Meadows, Jack Meadows, Ayden Busby (Trenton Phillipson), Olivia Thompson of Mendenhall, MS, and Ada Mae Thompson all of Mendenhall, MS;  great-great-grandson, Bentlee Phillipson of Mendenhall, MS; a nephew, Chris Blair (Cathy) of Clinton, MS; two sisters, Kathy Blair Evans (Travis) and Darlene Blair Berry (James) both of Mendenhall, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Pat Meadows, Zachary Lee, Trenton Phillipson, Sammy Scoggin, Marcus Lang, and Kenneth Nolan.
