Thomas F. Ponder, age 70, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021. He was born October 19, 1950, to Thomas Roy Ponder and Mary Christine (Bennett) Ponder.
He was retired from the City of Mendenhall as an equipment operator.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Chad Ponder (Mandie); Jessica McCrory (Michael); sisters, Mary Katherine Hall, Ruby Jewel Brewer; grandchildren, Josh, Tatum, Emily, Braylon, Brody, Shelby; great-granddaughters, Savannah and Adeline.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Connie (Hankins) Ponder.
Serving as pallbearers are Matt Brown, Jason Hall, Grady Helton, Cole McCrory, Josh McCrory and Tatum Starks.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Tutor Chapel in Mendenhall with Bro. James Dampeer officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
