“Being awarded Who’s Who is a great honor because I have finally reaped the fruits of my hard labor and contributions that I have made to the Southern Miss community,” said Alexis Sanders of Jackson, Miss. “It lets me know that I have accomplished the challenge that Dr. Joe Paul set for the students here at the university- leave Southern Miss better than I found it. This honor gives me the confidence to pursue any dreams I have.”

Every year students from colleges and universities in all 50 states are nominated for this prestigious award from their peers, faculty, and student body. To be eligible for consideration, students must have an overall GPA average of 3.0 or better, have senior classification status (91 hours), and be eligible for graduation no later than the fall semester of 2016.
