Monday, August 21, 2017 a solar eclipse with happen within the United States.

The partial eclipse can be seen in Mississippi.  The eclipse will start at 11:54 am and reach it magnitude at 1:26 pm.  The eclipse will end at 2:53 pm.

From beginning to end eclipse should last around 3:00 hours.

Below is a sample picture of how the eclipse will look like from the surrounding area.

Now for the kicker, the eclipse can be seen only if sunny day.  If weather does not corporate eclipse possibly could not be seen.

As of today, weather forecast for Monday is 20% chance of rain, partly could with a stray shower or thunderstorm is possible.  Now, we all know weather changes daily and even hourly at times.

Do not attempt to look at eclipse with a necked eye.  Viewing without certified solar glasses can cause serve damage to the eyes.  Videos or photos should not be taken with phones due to the possibly of device being damaged.
