Margie Weaver, Magee, MS
Margie Weaver, 87, passed away on August 15, 2017, at Lakeview Place Assisted Living in Magee. She was born on September 20, 1929, to Rudolph and Irene (Roberts) Jones in Jefferson Davis County.
She was a retired homemaker that loved her little dog, Missy. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends and cherished them dearly. She was a life long member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Fannie M. Smith, Shirley Warren (Gary); sister-in-law, Faye Jones, and special nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Weaver; two sons, Neal Hughes and Kelvin Weaver; brother, James Harold Jones; sister, Hilda Roberts and brother-in-law, William J. Smith.
Visitation for friends will be Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. with interment following at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Trent Sullivan officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
