Simpson Central School FLAG students visited Lake Thoreau Environmental Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on November 4th.

Students participated in the Birds of a Feather Program which teaches basic needs of migratory birds, identification of common species, and current conservation.

Students also participated in a scavenger hunt along a nature trail.
