Simpson County Technical Center’s Health Informatics classes, recently attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center Career Discovery Day. Students were exposed to careers in healthcare and research and the educational programs that lead to those careers. The single-site, rotation-based event showcased and highlighted several schools, programs, centers and departments at UMMC. Interactive games were enjoyed that allowed students to test their knowledge learned from the classroom. It was a very rewarding and learning experience!
