My dear friend Kim Grubbs Hall died Sunday night, August 4, 2019.  I am sad!  I have known Kim and her family for years. Like so many others, I have been praying for Kim.  She fought hard.  She loved life!  She loved her family.  She loved her friends.

One of my  favorite things about Kim (and I’ve got a lot of favorites) was she could rock some red lipstick!  In my opinion, it takes a true beauty to pull off red lipstick.  She was a true beauty.

Probably my favorite picture of Kim! Fun and fun loving!

Kim faced death with valor.

What’s Happening in our Community—Be the Eyes

August 29, 2026

Often when I write about my friends,  the words just “come forth” as to what I should say.  For some reason, I really don’t have words…my heart is broken.  Kim was so many things to so many people.  She was my friend.  I watched her grow up.  I know her brothers and sisters.  I know her children.  I know her husband. I knew her mama and Fred Earl.  I know her father.   I know so many of her friends.  She was loved.

Her bonco friends, The Bush Girls!

How wonderful to be loved!  She was loved because she loved and cared for others.

My heart breaks for the grief the family and friends now face.

Kim’s children, Becca Fox and Mitch Mangum

Kim left her mark on our lives.  When you saw her, she always had a smile and made you smile!  Fun and fun loving, Kim will be missed.

Bobby Glen, Kim, and Mitch! I love the oldie pictures!

Arrangements:  Tuesday, August 6, 2019 Visitation from 9-12 at First Baptist Church in Magee.  Funeral scheduled for 12 at FBC.  Burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Lunch for family and friends at FBC Family Life Center @ 2.  Anyone may bring food to the Family Life Center Tuesday morning.

I will post a full obituary when received.
