Good afternoon!  It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is “primary” election day.  Please remember to vote tomorrow, the polls will be open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mississippi does not require party registration, but in each primary election voters must choose the primary they wish to vote in at the voting precinct – Republican or Democrat.

Tomorrow I am running unopposed on the Republican ticket, and I ask for your vote and support.  As a Republican, I encourage you to vote in the Republican primary.  We have several key Republican races that are very important for Simpson and Rankin Counties, particularly in regard to the Senate District 35 race.  It is very important that we elect the best candidate who can represent the interests of Simpson and Rankin Counties professionally in the Mississippi Senate.  Additionally several local races including Simpson County Sheriff will practically be decided in the primary election.

Please remember to vote and tell your family and friends to do the same tomorrow.  Exercise the rare freedom to select your own government – a freedom fought for, gained, and defended by the blood and lives of our soldiers at home and abroad.

I want to close by thanking you once again for entrusting me with your vote and support as your State Representative!

Sincerely,

Rep. Andy Gipson
