On July 13, 2015, Rho Iota Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Archonette Club volunteered to play Bingo at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Magee, MS. The Archonette Club is a youth auxiliary of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. chartered in 1950. The club is a group of high school ladies, ages 14-18, who possess a good scholarly average, high moral character, believe in womanhood, and are community minded. Rho Iota Zeta’s Archonette Club was charted June 19, 1999. Local club sponsors are Ericka Newsome Rivers and Cassandra Owens Walker. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc was charted January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University. Zeta Phi Beta: A community Conscious Action Orientated Organization.
