Magee and Mendenhall bands performed halftime during Simpson County Super bowl. A lot of hard work and dedication by both band members and directors is required for preparation of an entertaining halftime show. Magee is under the direction of a new band director Amanda Sumrall. Band Director for Mendenhall is Hudson. Mr. Hudson has brought this Mendenhall band a long way. The halftime show is always so impressive when the band is in full uniform. Both bands did an excellent job on the night’s performances. Stay tuned, as each band will begin to add to their show in the coming weeks in preparation for marching contest. Congratulations to both bands and best of luck to each as contest season begins. Simpson county has a lot of talented players to be proud of.
