This month is Amnesty Month in the City of Magee.
If you have an eligible outstanding municipal court fine, this is your chance to come in and get it taken care of. During amnesty month, warrant fees will be waived, and if you come to City Hall to pay your fine, you will not be arrested on an outstanding warrant related to that fine during this amnesty period.
This does not erase the original fine. It simply gives eligible people an opportunity to handle their business without having to pay the added warrant fee.
If you have something outstanding, do not wait until the last minute. Come in, check your eligibility, and take care of it before the month ends.
