What an unbelievable senior track season this young lady has had! Honestly, I can’t remember seeing anyone collect so many honors while making it all look so effortless. Lilly runs with such grace, determination, and just plain grit. She doesn’t back down from anybody—and that competitive spirit is something special to watch.
And the exciting news just keeps coming!
Lilly is headed to Nike Nationals in Oregon this June—what an incredible accomplishment! But wait…there’s more! Just yesterday, Lilly received an invitation from the coach at IMG Academy to compete in the 800-meter race at the Under Armour Nationals in Florida in just two weeks. Wow!
As if that wasn’t enough, Lilly is also in the running for Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year for Track & Field. That is huge!
And now for even more bragging rights…
The Mississippi Athletics Hub has named Lilly the MSAIS 4A Girls Track Athlete of the Year!
Just look at these accomplishments:
🏅 Gold Medalist in the 400M
🏅 Gold Medalist in the 800M
🏅 Gold Medalist in the 1600M
🏅 Gold Medalist in the 4×400 Relay
🏅 Gold Medalist in the 4×800 Relay
She also:
⭐ Broke the class record in the 1600M
⭐ Set the MSAIS overall record in the 4×800 relay
⭐ Holds the #2 fastest 800M time in Mississippi history
Season bests:
400M: 58.35
800M: 2:10.85
1600M: 4:57.50
Lilly has truly capped off one of the most remarkable seasons by a Mississippi athlete.
