JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Agriculture and Livestock Theft Bureau (MALTB) assisted federal agencies in executing a search warrant in Hinds County and recovering a 2018 Kubota tractor valued at $38,000.

The search warrant was a joint effort of operation involving the United States Department of Agriculture Office of Inspector General; Drug Enforcement Administration; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives; Office of Homeland Security; and Jackson Police Department.

The tractor had been reported stolen to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in August 2018. The recovery of the stolen equipment was a success due to the joint effort of the local, state and federal agencies involved in this case. MALTB Director Dean Barnard would like to thank all involved for their continued effort in the recovery of stolen property.

For more information about the search warrant investigation view the U.S. Attorney’s Office press release from July 30, 2024: USAO Press Release.
