Magee wins 8th game in a row to move to 12-3 on the season with a big win over Pearl. During the 3rd inning Pearl would score first on costly errors by the Magee defense. Magee answered with a run in bottom of 3rd with a leadoff hit by Mason Booth. Cayden Bridges would run for Booth and steal second base before getting to third then scoring off the Sacrifice Fly by Chandler Pittman. Pearl would take the lead right back in the top of 4th on two more costly errors by the Trojan defense. Magee would answer in the 5th inning scoring 3 runs with hits from Zack Teater, Timon Kennedy and a big 2 RBI hit by Adam May. Brennon McNair had a Sacrifice Fly to score a run as well. After Adam May pitched 5.1 innings, Timon Kennedy came in to close the game out with the save.
Magee JV still remains undefeated as they won their game 8-7. Cayden Bridges had 2 hits and Kaden Harper was player of game with 2 hits and 3 RBIs.
Next week schedule is Crystal Springs at home Tuesday, at Crystal Springs Friday and at Taylorsville Saturday, which was originally scheduled at home.
