JACKSON, Miss. – Miss Mississippi Becky Williams presented the 2025 Dixie National Parade awards to winning participants following the parade on Saturday, February 8, inside the Mississippi Farmers Market. The procession included an array of rodeo and other title queens, marching bands, floats, car and tractor clubs, riding groups, the famous Dixie National Wagon Train and more.

Every year, first and second place winners are chosen within each category of parade participants including best motorized club, marching group, float and riding group, as well as first, second and third place winners from the Dixie National Wagon Train. In addition, the coveted Commissioner’s Award goes to the best overall best group chosen from 46 parade entries.

A panel of local celebrity and distinguished guests determined the 2025 winners. “Your Hometown Country” US 96.3’s Hannah Lane, Kim Allen and Bree Gray, as well as Mississippi 4-H President John Clayton Kitchens and Mississippi FFA Association President Laynie Dodson served as this year’s judges.

For best motorized club, the Central Mississippi Antique Tractor Association was awarded first place, and the Mississippi Army National Guard Recruiting & Retention Battalion, based in Hinds County, took home second place. In marching groups, the Mucho Gusto Wagon Team of Hinds County, earned first place and the Tishomingo Avengers of Rankin County took home second place. In best riding clubs, the Chula Homa Hounds of Madison County were awarded first place, and the Dixie National Rodeo Queens and Flag Girls took home second. For best decorative floats, the Mystic Wind Choctaw Dancers from Neshoba County received first place and the Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Club of Hinds County received second place.

In addition, the Mystic Wind Choctaw Dancers’ originality, uniformity and creativity stood out to the judges panel and their group was named the best overall participant within the procession and received the Commissioner’s Award.

Eight individual wagon trains from around the state of Mississippi make up the famous Dixie National Wagon Train. This year, Miss Mississippi Becky Williams awarded third place to the Wesson Wagon Train, second place went to the Smith County Wagon Train, and the Mt. Olive Wagon Train took home first place.
