The Magee Police Department would like to extend a huge thank you to the Mississippi Highway Patrol for their generous donation of a K-9 unit to our department — a gift that will greatly strengthen local law enforcement efforts and enhance public safety in our community.

This generous contribution reflects the continued commitment of the Mississippi Highway Patrol to protecting citizens across the state and supporting local agencies whenever possible. The addition of a K-9 unit will provide Magee officers with valuable assistance in areas such as tracking, locating missing persons, and crime prevention.

Special thanks is also extended to Trooper May for his assistance and support in helping make this donation possible. Cooperation between agencies plays a vital role in keeping communities safe, and this partnership is a wonderful example of that teamwork in action.

The City of Magee and the Magee Police Department are grateful for this support and for the strong working relationship with the Mississippi Highway Patrol. Together, these agencies continue to serve with dedication, professionalism, and a shared goal of keeping Mississippi communities safe.

Magee is thankful, and we appreciate those who work every day to protect and serve our citizens. 💙🐾
