Billy Dale Hosey, known to many as Bill, passed away on January 24, 2026, at his residence. He was born on July 19, 1950, to James Aubrey Hosey and Lou Nell Everett in White Oak, MS.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lou Nell Hosey; daughters, Stacy Ann Hosey and Connie Denise Hosey; brothers, John Henry Hosey, Lee Hosey, Bill Hosey, J W Hosey, Tommy Hosey, and Gayle Hosey; and sisters, Lena Mae Barrett, Ann Moody, Fannie Vanderford, and Betty Smith.
He is survived by his partner, Susan Vining; daughters, Amanda Smith (Pete) and Anna Nguyen; sons, Scott Vining (Kristi) and Blake Vining; eight grandchildren, Alex Wallace (Hailey), Cameron Wallace, Caitlyn Thornton, Emily Rosamond (Kris), William Johnson, Jordan Vining, Daniel Nguyen and Kiera Nguyen; four great-grandchildren, Colton Wallace, Raelynn Rosamond, Leila Nguyen, Lacy Nguyen; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Bill spent his days checking on his cows, riding his side-by-side, and working on his tractors and lawn mowers. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping on the reservoir, hand-grabbing, going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Hayes officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
