Jimmy Charles “Snuff” Wilson
(October 9, 1952 – March 9, 2022)

            Jimmy Charles “Snuff” Wilson, 69 of Taylorsville, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, October 9, 1952, in Laurel, Mississippi.

            Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi.

            Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Brother Mike Street will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

            Snuff was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching football games, and most of all spending time with his family.  He served our country in the United States Army.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

            He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Fuzz” Wilson.

            Survivors include his two sons, Justin Wilson (Charity) of Waynesboro, MS and Jason Wilson (Keri) of Alma, GA; mother, Rachel Stringer Wilson of Taylorsville, MS; six grandchildren, Rayghan Wilson and Mayleigh Wilson both of Waynesboro, MS, Jeremy Wilson of Gadsden, AL, Mattox Wilson of Alma, GA, Lawton Wilson of Alma, GA, and Benton Wilson of Alma, GA; brothers, Paul Wilson (Diane) of Tylertown, MS, Eddie Ralph “Wolf” Wilson (Jennie) of Florence, MS, and Danny “Moe” Wilson (Judy B.) of Collins, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

            Pallbearers will be family and friends.
