Jessie Lee Welch, 59, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Mendenhall, Bro. Earl Clark and Bro. Paul Barnard will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall, and continue Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church from 9:00 am until service time.

Mr. Welch was born in Mendenhall on June 6, 1956, he was a self-employed chicken farmer, and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter Angie Bryant (Stan), Mendenhall, grandchildren Wesley and Laine Bryant, sister  Elizabeth Chalk (Lavelle), Mendenhall,  brothers  Billy Welch (Ann), Mendenhall, Jimmy Welch (Rosanna), Mendenhall,  George Welch (Janice), Hendersonville, TN, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilson and Virgie Welch, and brother Willie Welch.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Bryant, Willie Welch, Bill Welch, Allen Welch, Ryan Curlee, Woody Chalk, William Chalk, and Jim Welch.
