Ida Mae Brewer “ER IDA” was a nurse at Magee Hospital for over 30 years.  Her love for helping others drove her to returning to work in the clinic after retirement.  She loved to visit with her family who brought her joy and pride.  She also loved the outdoors including working in her yard and fishing.  She loved to rescue and adopt animals, to include her beloved friend “Squirt”.  She will be missed by her family and many friends who remember her as a loving and caring woman with open arms and a ready smile.

She was preceded in death by Grover Floyd (Father), Mae Floyd (Mother), Leon Brewer (Husband), Mark Brewer (Grandson).

Survivors include her Son, Mark Brewer (Ruby), Grandchildren, Jana Brown, Saleta Brewer, Julie Crum, Amanda Driskell, Great-grandchildren, Kelly Milner, Remi Brown, Jake Milner, Triston Mayberry, Autumn Crum, Mylie Brown, Bailey Brown, Oakes Brown, Jinna Driskell, Colton Driskell, and Brother, Billy Floyd.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
