The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in John 1:16: “From the fullness of His grace, we have all received one blessing after another.” The apostle is once again assuring all who will read and listen that the blessings we each receive are bestowed by God through His unmerited favor. He doesn’t owe us anything; yet, as our heavenly Father, we are His children with all rights and privileges. He desires to have fellowship with us and provide us with all good things. Through our acceptance of Him as our Lord and Savior, we become heirs and join heirs with Jesus Christ. As the BIBLE puts it, “How can we neglect so great a salvation?”
