Helen Louise Dukes McCallum, age 92, of Taylorsville, passed from this life on Monday, September 03, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg..
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Taylorsville., MS.

Until recently, she was an active member of the church and the Gleaners Sunday School Class. Louise loved flowers, was an excellent cook, and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  She was always praying for her family, friends, church, and those in her community.  Granny Louise, as she was most often called, was a very loving and caring one.

Louise was born in White Oak, MS; the daughter of John Kirby and Lena Miley Dukes. 
She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, James D (Bud) McCallum, Sr.; her parents; her sister, Ruby Dukes Ivy, brother, Mims Dukes and one grandson, Paul David Stringer.

She is survived by her five children, James D (Jim) McCallum Jr.  (Deborah ) of Stringer, MS; Donna McCallum  Jones (Jimi) of Magee, MS; Joe McCallum,(Cheryl) of Taylorsville, MS; Jeffery McCallum  of Taylorsville, MS and Melissa McCallum West  (Lane)  of Taylorsville, MS;  Brother, Dean Dukes (Lynda) of Magee.  Also, she is survived by twelve grandchildren:;  Jeanna Stringer Glenn ( Cedric) of Bay Springs, MS; Jason McCallum (Jennifer)  of Stringer, MS; Kevin  McCallum of Taylorsville, MS;  Shawn McCallum (Hannah) of Stringer, MS; Eric Stringer of Gulfport, MS;  DeAnne McCallum Parker (Keith) of Stringer, MS;  Tiffany McCallum  Gordon  (Josh) of Magee, MS; David McCallum (Holly) of Soso, Kris McCallum (Jessica) of Taylorsville, MS; Chad McCallum (Amanda) of Seminary, MS.,  Conner West and Caitlin West of Taylorsville, MS and eighteen great- grandchildren, Caroline,  Lanie, Luke , Matthew , Bryce, Emily , Landon., Ben, Anna,  Brandon , Avery,  Macee, Preston, Kirby, Ty, James Bayless,  Lauren and Brendan , and special friends, Dr. John and Margie Harper.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville.  A visitation will be at the church from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at First Baptist Church.  Music will be provided by Mary Barron Jordan and Mary Lou Robertson.  Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery, Taylorsville, Mississippi.  Dr. Frankie Clark will officiate.

Pallbearers will be grandsons:  Jason McCallum, Kevin McCallum, Shawn McCallum, Eric Stringer, Kris McCallum, David McCallum, Chad McCallum, and Conner West.

Honorary Pallbearers will be great –grandsons, Luke McCallum, Matthew McCallum, Bryce Parker, Landon McCallum, Ben Rogers, Brandon Stringer, Preston Gordon, Ty McCallum and James Bayless McCallum
