Henry M. Overstreet passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Magee General Hospital. He was born on November 11, 1939, to the late Raymond Hobson Overstreet and Eglah Thompson Overstreet.
In his earlier years, he served in the United States Army.
Henry is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Beatty (Dennis); sister, Elsie Bunch; grandchildren, Hunter McCarty (Morgan), Gilton McCarty (LaShea) four great-grandchildren, Kaston McCarty, Kalli McCarty, Kaelyn McCarty, Karolyne McCarty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane Sullivan Overstreet; brother, Jimmy Combs, sister; Mary Lois Harvey and two grandchildren, Ashley McCarty and Jessie McCarty.
Visitation for friends will be held on Monday, September 3, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, at Tutor Funeral Home with interment following in Rose Hill Cemetery in Mize, MS.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
