What an incredible week it has been as our community came together to celebrate one of Simpson County’s most beloved traditions—the annual Simpson County Super Bowl! The rivalry between Magee and Mendenhall has been bringing excitement, school spirit, and community pride to our county for generations.

From spirited activities and special events to plenty of laughs, fellowship, and unforgettable memories, this week was filled with the kind of moments that remind us what makes our community so special. It wasn’t just about football—it was about coming together, supporting our young people, and celebrating the traditions that connect us all.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone who played a part in making this week such a success! To those who donated, prepared and served food, chaperoned, drove, hauled equipment, organized activities, volunteered their time, and helped capture all of the fun through photos and videos—we appreciate you more than words can say!

A very special thank-you to Billy Lofton Sr., First Baptist Church of Magee, and Hillcrest Nursing Center for your support and generosity. Your willingness to pour into our community helped make this week even more meaningful.

It takes an entire community to make an event like this possible, and Simpson County once again showed what can happen when we work together, give generously, and celebrate our children and our communities.

The Simpson County Super Bowl may be a rivalry on the field, but the memories made throughout the week are something we can all celebrate together.

Mendenhall Tigers won the Simpson County Super Bowl 35-15.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Super Bowl week one to remember!
