Gregory “Greg” Emmett Maddox, 60, passed to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at King Daughters Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1960, to Melvin Emmett Maddox and Margie Ree Foster Maddox in Magee, Mississippi.

Greg was self-employed for 25 years doing accident investigations for Schwartz and Associates. He was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Leigh Rushing Maddox; son, Gregory T. Maddox (Brittney) and daughter, Emileigh R. Cromwell (Shane); grandchildren, Lily LeAnne Maddox, Carter Jimmy Cromwell, and Landon Emmett Maddox; brothers, Rickey Maddox, James Mike Maddox, Jeff Maddox. He is also survived by a host of friends, family, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phil Maddox.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Craft and Terrell Luckey will officiate with interment following.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bankston, Jonathan Blount, Doug Warren III, Jonathan Knotts, Ben Pierce, and Shane Cromwell.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home.
