Glenda Runnels, 79 of Magee, MS went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee, MS. She was born Wednesday, May 8, 1946.

Glenda was a sweet loving soul. She had many interest which included planting and tending to her flowers and plants, going to garage sales, as well as wearing and showing off her elephant jewelry. She loved God and was a devoted Christian. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply, deeply missed by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Davis Kennedy; mother, Wilma Stewart Kennedy; sisters, Ann Wyatt and Kay Kennedy.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Runnels; son, Kenneth Runnels; daughters, Mechelle  Hester (Brandon) and Sheila Rollin; grandchildren, Kristen Greenwood (Monty), Justin Williams (Karlee), Dalton Runnels (Amanda) and Chasity Rollin; great grandchildren, Brentley Westbrook, Kingzley McLellan, Jaxton Greenwood and Ellyson Greenwood; brother, Earl Kennedy; sister, Mavis Goodson (Norris); and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
