Ezell J. James, 82, of Mendenhall, MS passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at his residence.
He was a member of Kennedy Springs Baptist Church and was very involved in his church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ella Well James; sisters, Alberteen Churchman, Esther “Jackie” Matthews, Helen Hoggett, Birtie Powell; granddaughter, Bethany James and grandson, Gabe Holbrook.
Mr. Ezell is survived by his loving wife, Lynda James; sister, Lois Williams; children, Tommy James (Cindy), Sherry Pearce (Gary), Charles James (Melinda), Cindy Hofler, Jeff Holbrook (Jana); grandchildren, TJ James, Michael James, Tyler Pearce, Faith Pearce, Devin James, Larry Hofler, Lekisha Hofler Coody, Heather Hofler Dennis, Wesley Hofler, Hollie Holbrook, Hayden Holbrook, Hayden Holbrook, Riley Holbrook, Rae Holbrook along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Kennedy Springs Baptist Church with interment in Kennedy Springs Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
