On February 26, 2016 around 17:45 hours investigator Landon Ates was patrolling the Eastside Community when a gray Toyota car passed him and noticed the passenger want not wearing a seat belt. Investigator Ates stopped the vehicle on 5th Street Southeast at 12th Ave SE. Investigator Ates approached the vehicle and noticed a strong smell of Marijuana coming from inside the car. Investigator Ates and other Magee Police Department Officers had both driver and passenger to exit the vehicle. The passenger was identified as Shaquile Duckworth. investigator Ates did a search of the vehicle and recovered 5 ounces of Marijuana form the passenger side of the vehicle. Shaquile Duckworth was arrested and charged with possession controlled substance with intent to distribute (Marijuana).
