WESSON – The Co-Lin Golf team announces the hiring of Dejoné S. Lee as assistant coach. Lee comes to Co-Lin after finishing her playing career at Blue Mountain College this past May.
Lee is a native of South Africa and graduated from Curro Bankenveld in Witbank in 2016. Lee then attended Blue Mountain from 2017-2022 earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Lee has experience as a golf instructor at Edwin Compton Golf Academy in Witbank, South Africa and worked at the Bankenveld Golf Club.
“We are ecstatic to have Dejone (Dee) join our program,” stated head coach Allen Kent. “She’s fresh off a collegiate playing career at Blue Mountain College and is eager to get started.”
“Dee will help us tremendously in all phases of our practices and on-course management,” added Kent. She has a great understanding of the golf swing and does a great job of applying that knowledge to her students. I know our guys are going to like her.”
Lee is married to former Wolf Pack golf team member, Will Lee.
