Such a special night and some special people to share it with!! So many young ladies have had a part in these 600 wins—a lot of good times and some not so good times—lots of fun and some tears along the way but I wouldn’t trade a single day of coaching for anything in the world!  I have loved every minute of it !! To all of the young ladies who have helped me get 600 wins— all I can say is thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!! To all of the parents whose kids I have coached—thank you for letting me be a part of your child’s life, and thank you for letting me love your children!! Special thanks to my family for always supporting me!! Thank you Simpson Academy for a special night!!  I love all of you!!

In the words of Coach Dear’s daughter Brandi Dear Smith:

GaGa got her 600th career win tonight. She basically started two programs in her early years—as in I don’t even really remember that long ago!! Then she went to Simpson on a very successful run. She rebuilt the program at Brandon High School (with some amazing players and seasons) along the way, before returning to Simpson. Not many can say that.

Coach Dear and her grands!

Way to go coach Dear, you were a model for my daughter at Brandon, just as a PE coach.
