I am thrilled to announce College Savings Mississippi will be hosting a “Tuition Toss” during this weekend’s High School Football State Championships! There are SIX $500 scholarships to be won!! These scholarships will be given in the form of a Mississippi Affordable College Savings account.
Visit our table at Southern Miss’s M.M. Roberts Stadium to register.
$500 sounds great, but what’s a MACS account?
MACS (or Mississippi Affordable College Savings) makes giving the gift of college easy and affordable. Almost anyone can open a MACS account for a child or loved one, making it an ideal holiday gift for grandparents looking to spoil grandkids who already have too many toys and gadgets. What’s more, it takes as little as $25 to start!
Families can then use the tax-advantaged account for future college expenses, such as tuition, books, supplies, and certain room-and-board expenses. The funds can also be used for elementary and secondary tuition expenses.
If you’d like to register for the Tuition Toss (or just say hello), please visit the College Savings Mississippi table at the entrance of M.M. Roberts Stadium this Friday and Saturday!
And to all the teams involved in the championships – GOOD LUCK!
