Melissa Dawn Medlin, 46 passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 in North Carolina. She was born Tuesday, March 20, 1979.
Visitation will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at The First Pentecostal Church of Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. at First Pentecostal Church of Taylorsville in Taylorsville, MS. Burial will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize, MS. Bro. Dennis Davis, Bro. Stanley Wilson, Bro. Brent Randall, and Bro. Nathan White will officiate. Special music will be performed by Thersa Davis and Garrett Yopp. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564.

Survivors include her sons, Jaxson  Medlin and Carter  Medlin;  daughter, Macy  Yopp (Garrett );  father, Harry  Wade;  mother, Kathryn  Wade;  grandchildren, Jayne  Yopp, Marley  Yopp and Wyatt  Yopp;  brother, Kelly  Wade  (Renee);  aunts, Carolyn  Cauthen  (Tommy) and Jan  Sullivan; special friends, Jessica Fergozzo, Korie Rodriguez, and Marney Hand.

Pallbearers will be Ray Sullivan, Mike Cauthen, Richy Cauthen, Caleb Cauthen, Matthew Bynum, and Alan Sullivan.
